Oak Catering is a family-owned-and-operated catering business in Fishers, Indiana. As a custom caterer with extensively trained chefs, we are able to customize a menu to meet your vision as well as price point. Our chefs are always on site to freshly execute each designed menu.


Our Sales and Event Coordinator Shelley Najem has more than 20 years of experience in the catering industry. Shelley’s hospitality and culinary training makes her a fantastic asset in assisting you with every aspect of your event. From the menu development to the execution, her goal is to make your event planning experience easy and enjoyable.

Policies and General Information

Menus


The menus provided are merely suggested items and may be customized to meet your specific requirements. We will gladly work with you to produce a menu satisfying food taste and presentation. Menu selection should be finalized one month prior to the function date. 

Formal Buffet Setup

 Our courteous and professionally trained wait staff will attend to your party. Please add $3.00 per guest for China.

Hors D’oeuvres Reception

Our buffets are beautifully displayed with serving pieces and accented with your chosen colors. China Service is $3.00 per guest.

Sit Down Dinner

If you require a more formal setting, nothing is more elegant than a sit down dinner. Please add $5.25 per person for China Service. Our service staff will be happy to serve you and your guests. 

Beverage Pricing

All liquor, wine, beer, and soft drink pricing includes plastic ware, ice, mixers, and all applicable garnishes. Glassware can be substituted for an additional charge.

Guarantees

A guaranteed attendance figure is required for all banquets five days prior to the function date. This figure will be considered the minimum attendance figure for billing purposes.

Service Charges

There will be a 20% service charge and 9% state sales tax added to the final bill for all banquet functions and services.

Cake Cutting Fee

There will be a $2.25 per person fee assessed for cake cutting and $1.00 per person for plastic plates and $2.00 per person for China.

Deposit for Catering Services

At the time of the initial consultation, a signed contract and a non-refundable 50% down payment is required. This deposit is for catering services to be performed by Oak Catering and is separate from facility rental fees and/or deposits. We will accept cash, personal checks or credit cards for deposit payments.

Billing

The complete balance is to be paid in full 48 hours prior to the event if paying by cash or credit card. If paying by check, the complete balance is due seven days prior to the event. Any additional charges incurred at the time of the event such as additional guests or beverages will be due in full at the completion of the event.


Oak Catering will provide a fully itemized invoice for all food, beverages, incidentals, and services provided. Menu prices are subject to change without prior notice.
